Tom Hoster
Silicon Valley CFO
Tom Hoster is an accomplished Chief Financial Officer with more than 40 years of experience, including 25 years as a CFO to start-up companies in Silicon Valley, where he has led companies through rapid growth and organizational change, in industries such as software, SaaS, wireless, and medical devices. While most of his work has been with early-stage start-ups, he has taken a company public (@Road [NASDAQ:ARDI], subsequently acquired by Trimble Navigation). He is currently serving as a CFO for several medical device companies, including StepWise Medical, LLC and the medical device companies that have been spun out of it, notably Visant Medical, Inc.
Mr. Hoster began his career in banking at Chemical Bank in New York City. He has a degree in Electrical Engineering from Princeton and an MBA from Stanford. He is a member of the National Annual Giving Committee at Princeton, where he is the longest serving Class Agent in the history of the University.
